Grab, their local taxi service is really affordable. Unless you are experienced scooter driver, would not recommend a scooter.

🙏🏼 Thank you

Scooter is life. You will see a lot of people lounging on scooters, taking naps, or leaning against them. They easily outnumber cars!

If you are in the city proper, many ladies are not afraid to dress up to the 9's! Heels and fancy purses welcome. Most locals wear short sleeve shirts and long pants.

Low, very narrow sidewalks and busy traffic.

Things we ate

Some memorable stops.

Okkio Coffee Shop

A really cute trendy coffee shop on the third floor. You can enjoy juices, coffee, and baked goods with a view of the bustling city below. See Map

XLIII Specialty Coffee

A gallery x laboratory x coffee shop. At the entrance is a quiet installation of moss and white lighting. On the second and third floor, there are tasting experiences. The staff is really knowledgable and show you the difference between the first, second, and third pour of their beans. See Map

Phở Thìn By SOL

Although we only spent a few days here, this was our favorite Pho in Saigon. We ordered their Wagyu A5 Pho and the soup was unlike anything we ever tasted! See Map

RuNam d'Or

This restaurant feels like a step back in time. The furniture, decor, and even people feel like an old Saigon film. The food is a little pricer than your average street food but the vibe was worth sipping on some fancy tea for. Come to see ladies dressed for business and men conversing over newspapers. Things we did

Just one little activity.

XO Tours

One of our favorite activities in Saigon was booking a bike tour. Locals take you out on motorbikes to eat local dishes. There is nothing more exhilarating than riding on a motorbike through the warm nights of Saigon! They even have teams to go ahead and reserve seats and order so all you have to do is eat. We especially enjoyed being able to see districts outside of our hotel. See Map
