99% population are Muslim, meaning alcohol is forbidden. You can only find alcohol in very fancy restaurants.


Be wary of street peddlers or those offering directions. They may be trying to deter you or looking for you to pay them for their help.


They drink lots of Moroccan Mint Tea!


Women should cover up their shoulders and wear longer pants or skirts.

Tucked away museum that displays ornate artisanal Moroccan objects from the 11th century. You can see the original carpets, tiles and fountains. See Map

A trendy hidden hair salon with a relaxed bar of the city on the roof See Map

Shop the Markets

Roam around the twisting streets to browse local vendors. Remember to always barter because often times the prices for the same thing can fluctuate. It's very common that the vendors will try to aggressively sell you on things, but just kindly tell them "No, ​"Shkran"" and walk on!

Yves Saint Laurent Museum

This cubed building pays homage to Yves Saint Laurent with cafe, bookshops and cute shops outside. They have an immersive garden lined with vibrant blues, cactus and lush bamboo forests galore! This is a nice repreive from the bustling city markets. See Map.
