Things we did
Some memorable stops.
Visit an elephant sanctuary
Thai is one of the few countries that use elephant as labor today. Many of the elephants who are used for logging or birthing new babies were abused and injured. There are few sanctuaries that help rehabilitate these elephants in Chiang Mai. It was one of our favorite activities on our Thailand trip to see these happy animals roam the land. We visited Elephant Nature Park. They had 3 baby elephants when we visited!

Wander into their many temples
One of the many unique features of Chiang Mai are it's bounty of temples. We won't recommend a specific one because it was fun to just stumble upon one. We found the ones that were highly recommended weren't any more impressive than the ones we happened upon. You can't go wrong!
